Description
This 2.5 gallon FDA drum holds enough potable water for drinking, cooking and sanitation for 1 person for 30 hours.
These drums are FDA approved for food storage and are delivered food clean with a dust cap in the opening to keep it clean. This plastic is BPA-free and certified by EPA and UN to be of drinking water quality. When filled and dosed with 5/16 teaspoon (1.5 ml) of unscented bleach per drum, the water is safe with no expiration date.
These drums are ‘Natural’ (Tan) in color and will NOT stop UV light so they must be stored inside or covered to block sunlight.
Requires a 63mm Wrench to open and close and a 63mm cap (included). May be used with a spigot (optional and extra). The wrench is included in the packages but not with individual drums.
