On July 9, 2023, Lamorinda CERT hosted a party to say thanks to the instructors, sponsors, and staff who make the program work! Without all of these people, Lamorinda CERT couldn’t be the dynamic program that it is. Summer is always a tough time for schedules so we didn’t get all of the people we had hoped for but a good many were able to come with their spouses and a good time was had by all. The theme was Italian and all of the food was of Italian heritage. The featured wine was a 3L bottle of 1997 Lungarotti Reserva Sangiovese. Also featured were bottles of Groppallo wines donated by Joe Grupalo from his family estate in Yountville CA. Dave “Ouzo” Land provided music in his “Country infused rock ‘n roll” fashion.
