The Great California ShakeOut is happening at 10:20am on 10-20-2022. We will set up a communications unit at the Moraga Town EOC. We will conduct directed HAM and GMRS nets for the Lamorinda area and collect locational information from responders. There will be a Zonehaven system and we’ll send out exercise alerts. This exercise will be coordinated with MOFD, Town of Moraga, City of Orinda, Orinda Unified School District, Moraga School District, Miramonte High School, Lamorinda Area Radio Interest Group and Lamorinda Community Emergency Response Teams. The GMRS portion will be on LARIG 121 (GMRS 20R, 77 Hz), LARIG 122 (GMRS 21R, 77 Hz), and LARIG 123 (GMRS 22R, 77 Hz). HAMs should check into the NET on LARIG 126 (Moraga Repeater).
